60 Years

As Penn State Behrend's 60th Anniversary wides to a close, we remember who helped get it there and made it what it is - the faculty and staff.

In 1948, the "Behrend Center" consisted of just 20 faculty and staff members. In the above photo, they gather in the Memorial Room of Glenhill Farmhouse.

To celebrate and commemorate Behrend's 60 years, more than 230 of Penn State Behrend’s 700+ faculty and staff members gathered on the baseball field in May 2009. The gathering exemplified the growth of Penn State Behrend 1948.
