- I am so excited for the surprise bachelorette weekend for the future Mrs. Hammer. (Don't worry, I didn't spoil the surprise. She knows about the wkend, just not the location.)
- Joe Paterno is in Erie today (first time in 10 years). Behrend is having a reception with him for our "friends" - I get to take the candid pics for our office.
- Why is Joe in town? To rub elbows with the Manufacturing Association supporters and his friend, George W. Bush. *Grimace*
- Did I mention my excitement for this weekend? Yes? Hm. Still excited... and a bit stressed.
- Happy Birthday, M.C. Escher! You made the impossible, possible; explored infinity, architecture, and tessellations; and played with light and shadow.
- I might get to do a give-away for All Modern (just won a vase from them). Stayed tuned.
- Bought a really nice artificial orchid to put in the vase. It's light green with purple accents.
- I am working on becoming a blogger for Savvy Grouse - a Pennsylvania tourism blog site. Need to decide on my niche, because I'm too all-over-the-board.
- The 21st Annual Greek Festival at Erie's Greek Orthodox Church will be held July 10, 11 and 12th. Yum! (Same weekend as KT's wedding - ouzo for the bachelorettes! Opa!)
- I went to the doctor's on Monday and got a shot. My arm still hurts.
- My iPod's FM transmitter is still missing. I searched ALL my purses, my iPod sachet, my car's console, and my misc electronics container. *Sad Face* Where could it be?
- Penelec over-estimated our electric use like crazy and then thought I was nuts (and wrong) when I called in with the actual reading. What a pain in the neck!
- Roomie and I blew a fuse twice in two days. But never blew one in the last 8 months. Strange.
- I completely over ate during my dad's weekend birthday celebrations (including leftovers this week). I hope my stomach can adjust back to the half of grapefruit and yogurt I packed for lunch.
Think these tweets are interesting. Read my actual ones over at @CelesteKCC.
